Deformable Mirrors are ideal for wavefront manipulation and system enhancement. The 32 actuator deformable mirror consists of 32 radially packed rear actuators, while the 48 actuator deformable mirror consists of 32 rear and 16 frontal actuators that control the shape of the silver coated precision cellulose membrane. These Deformable Mirrors are easily integrated into any adaptive optics system using a GigE connection and a dedicated Ethernet card. Featuring an 11mm active area and more than 10μm of maximum actuator stroke, both mirrors are ideal for biomedical instruments, microscopy, optical coherence tomography, and OEM integration.

The 64 channel embedded high voltage drive electronics are designed to work with either the 32 or 48 actuator deformable mirrors. They are fully programmable and include an integrated Intel ATOM®-based PC and 2GB of solid state memory. A quick start demo application and software libraries for C++, Java, Matlab, and LabVIEW® are provided.

The embedded adaptive optics system comes complete with a 32 actuator deformable mirror, 32 drive electronics, and a software package that integrates a pre-tested influence matrix specific to the included mirror, perfect for open and closed loop systems.
