ALPAO Deformable Modal Mirrors are designed to provide simple correction of common optical aberrations without having to control each actuator individually. Each one of the eight pre-programmed channels relate to a different Zernike mode that can be used to quickly switch between aberration correction such as defocus, astigmatism, coma, and spherical. The included user-friendly software can be used standalone via web browser or programmed with any language, and provides straightforward monitoring and control of the deformable mirror. ALPAO Deformable Modal Mirror’s compact housing tube, low-voltage operation, and low power consumption allow for easy integration into new or existing systems. These mirrors are ideal for a range of adaptive optics applications such as Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT), 3D imaging, ophthalmology, and laser pulse shaping.
